Job description
Your main responsibilities will include but won't be limited to:
- Prepare and assess financial statements on a monthly, quarterly, and yearly basis following both Brazilian GAAP and IFRS standards.
- Examine monthly financial outcomes to guarantee punctual and precise reporting aligning with Group Policies.
- Supervise day-to-day finance department operations, encompassing general ledger and accounts payable.
- Coordinate the annual financial audit, compiling necessary information and overseeing the entire process.
- Collaborate with external parties such as auditors, financial institutions, and regulatory agencies.
- Supervise tax compliance operations, ensuring adherence to tax regulations and timely submission of reports.
- Collaborate with other departments on accounting issues, acting as a knowledgeable resource.
- Lead and manage the team, fostering a culture of collaboration and continuous improvement.
- Provide accurate and timely updates to leadership on task statuses, results, and any associated issues.
Active CRC|Fluent English
- Hold a Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, or a relevant field.
- Possess professional certification in accounting, such as being a certified public accountant in Brazil.
- Accumulated years of experience in both accounting/audit firms and in the commercial, services or finance sector.
- Have proficiency in Microsoft Business Central, if possible.
- Exhibit robust analytical and organizational capabilities, adept at comprehending intricate data and issues, with a proven capacity for innovative thinking.
- Possess fluent English and Brazilian Portuguese.
- Relevant proficiency in Excel and PowerPoint.
