Job description
We are a leading recruitment company and looking for a Financial Planning and Analysis Manager for a leading MNC in Colombo. The position exists to assist the finance function to proactively support the operational and finance requirements of the Company. He/she is responsible for providing Finance Outcomes expected from the finance division such as annual planning and monthly financial reporting within statutory and group guidelines.
The selected candidates will be responsible for:
- Ensure that the financials of the business segment are accurate timely and in keeping with the annual plan.
- Timely preparation of the annual plan for the business segments
- Monthly review of the Actual costs and the Annual Plans and ensuring of strict adherence.
- Responsible for the timely provision of analyses for the respective business segments and assistance with the pricing decisions.
- Identify and assess risk areas in all SCM functions develop and implement strategies and carry out reviews to transfer risk to another party avoid risk and/or reduce the negative effect of a particular risk.
- Responsible for ensuring that all relevant internal controls are adhered to by the Finance Division.
Required qualifications and skills:
- Associate member of Chartered Institute of Management Accountants UK with at least 5 years of experience in Management Accounting or financial planning preferably in FMCG or manufacturing.
- Broad understanding of the financial behavior of a manufacturing company
- Sound knowledge of Costing systems Accounting and SAP.
- Decision Making and Problem Solving.
- Strategic Thinking Business Acumen and Financial analytical skills
