Supports the ABB Process Automation Energy Industries sales organization in the Americas cluster and its customers throughout the digital solution proposals with respect to technical and commercial aspects, determining the costs, preparing final documentation, and serving as a key technical resource the digital business line working with APM (Asset Performance Management) solutions.

Your responsibilities
- Supports the local Sales organization/customers in determining the most technically appropriate and cost-effective digital solutions and in the preparation of demanding offers.
- Offers technical advice and provides comment on inquiry specifications to customers/channels/Sales Specialists regarding ABB products/systems/applications.
- Provides digital solution technical support during the technical meeting, product presentations, and negotiations.
- Performs analytical and diagnostic studies to determine the most suitable digital solution that meets the customer needs.
- Prepares and delivers technical presentations and demonstrations to both internal staff and customers on complex product issues.
- Prepares offers in coordination with the local sales unit and Sales Specialists.
- Ensures that the technical and financial aspects of offers, including price and trading conditions, are appropriate.
- Develops and maintains new sales opportunities and manages resolution to specific customer problems.
- Ensures that budget (volume) and profitable growth targets are achieved in the respective countries and for the assigned product groups.
- Ensures the achievement of targeted level of orders, Net Price Variance (NPV), and Net Promoter Score (NPS).
- Prepares/supports preparation of technical/commercial offers based on customer specification requirements, local business unit/feeder factory indications, and Sales organization directives.
- Analyzes the customer needs and competitor offering through general market information and information provided by the Sales organization.
Your background
- Bachelor degree in Engineering (electrical, mechanical, automation).
- Previous experience with maintenance of equipment (electrical or mechanical) specially in reliability field.
- Experience with APM (Asset Performance Management) solutions implementation.
- Ability to understand customer needs and translate it into solution design and techincal proposals.
- Segment expertise in Oil & Gas, Chemical, Refining, Power or Water segments is na advantage.
- Languages: English (mandatory), Portuguese and Spanish (desirable).
