Job Description:
Service Control Center Senior Analysis role bears responsibility for support, maintenance and monitoring platform tools to match needs and requirements of IT support and development teams, and making recommendation statements about methodologies, tools and procedures of best practices on how to operate and keep the monitoring aligned with new technologies and market trends, as well aligned with Mars Digital Technologies road map.
What are we looking for?
- Experience as a senior analyst in Infrastructure monitoring areas
- Strong knowledge on Monitoring tools, like HPOMi, CheckMk, Datadog, Dynatrace
- Solid knowledge of background operations such as NOC (Network Operations Center) for monitoring solutions and preventive KPIs for incidents
- Skills in Shell, Perl or Visual Basic scripting.
- Splunk or other similar Data Analytics / Big Data tool knowledge
- Experience with IAOPs and AI
What will be your key responsibilities?
- The Monitoring and Alerting Senior Analyst is responsible to execute, operate, monitor, and escalate in case of any issue with background procedures and processes related to all alerts & monitoring services.
- The Monitoring and Alerting Senior Analyst will introduce new technologies, such as Artificial Intelligence, Machine Learning, Automation, etc., aiming to improve the predictive capabilities to avoid business operations disruptions and efficiency improvements.
- The Monitoring and Alerting Senior Analyst is part of a global team responsible for the support and develop Event Management environment. This includes activities with alerts for our predictive monitoring capabilities. The analyst also works closely with the incident & problem management processes to evaluate opportunities and help Mars business applications and infrastructure work smarter. In addition, there will be close interaction with key customers, key areas, and other IT Operations teams to ensure expectations are met.
- Responsible to propose, design, implement and operate Alerts & Monitoring services to enable our critical incidents prevention strategy through preventive and predictive KPIs.
- Take the responsibility during outages caused by planned and unplanned events to shut down and start up all background procedures covering all monitoring platforms/capabilities, and alerts events.
