Job description
A well-established OTT platform that is advancing the field of contemporary entertainment through its innovative solutions is looking for a Senior iOS Engineer. The selected candidate will be responsible for the delivery of crucial business pieces and the development of modular as well as efficient code. The company aspires to create the best location for video content for users across a variety of platforms, including smartphones and tablets. The company has managed to raise more than $200 mn in funding so far. This position requires 6+ hours of overlap with the China time zone.
Job Responsibilities:
- To deliver a high-performance system and a highly captivating user interface, enhance, remodel, and reinvent the mobile application
- Delivery of essential business modules while creating modular, optimized code
- Handle the quality of the entire product, including the creation and upkeep of the fundamental frameworks that make apps more dependable and enjoyable
- Develop new concept prototypes and investigate cutting-edge mobile technology
Job Requirements:
- Bachelor’s/Master’s degree in Engineering, Computer Science (or equivalent experience)
- At least 5+ years of relevant experience as a software engineer
- Knowledge of iOS development, including technologies like UIKit, Core Animation, Auto Layout, and Cocoa Touch
- Knowledge of Swift and Objective-C coding ability along with strong CS & OS fundamentals
- Ability to break down complex problems into simple, innovative solutions that serve the business needs
- A knack for problem-solving and ability to work in ambiguity
- Entrepreneurial spirit and a bias for action
- Ability to work independently with good English communication skills
