About the Opportunity:

First Help Financial, recently voted as a " Great Place to Work " for the third year in a row is seeking a Senior Software Engineer to join our highly skilled and innovative team. First Help Financial is embarking on a new growth phase involving multiple game-changing projects. To fuel such innovation, we are seeking a full-time, proficient Product Owner to enhance our team focusing on technology-driven solutions for the auto loan industry. Candidates should have considerable experience in the financial sector, proficiency in Scrum, and the capability to work effectively with software development teams. This position involves writing high-quality specifications, planning product releases, and meeting overall Product Owner responsibilities. Experience as a Business Analyst in a related field would be beneficial.

Key Responsibilities:

• Working with a broader product and design team to define and steer the product strategy in the automotive finance technology space.
• Work closely with stakeholders to understand and integrate their needs into product development.
• Partner with software development teams to ensure smooth execution of product features.
• Draft clear and concise product specifications, managing product backlogs effectively.
• Plan and manage product milestones and deliverables.
• Bridge the gap between business needs and technical solutions, maintaining clear communication.

Requirements

• 5+ Years as a Product Owner (or similar)
• Track record of delivering long and complex projects
• Track record of measurable impact
