Job description
PMAN has been operating in the national and international market for over 26 years in the food industry, offering integrated solutions for baking industry.
We are looking for an Application Supervisor to join our team.
Main responsibilities:
•Manage and deploy Strategic Planning cycles for Application function, fulfilling Stakeholders expectations.
•Ensure the team is performing efficiently and accurately when delivering Application duties. under one’s guidance.
•Lead the Application team by interfacing with the R&D, Sales, and Quality teams, and translating needs into teams’ deliverables and customers satisfaction.
•Play sponsor role and or trainer, for sales and the application teams, providing national and international seminars and webinars for customers.
•Support the sales, R&D and marketing team with sales forecasting, market research and projections.
•Support the team and, whenever necessary, solve customer issues regarding products application.
•Propose and carrying out tests on customers, therefore availability for short- and long-term trips.
•Participate in national and international bids, providing technical and scientific knowledge.
•Prepare technical material for divulgation; Organize and participate in national and international training and fairs, as well as working together with our partners in Germany and the United States.
•Participate in the R&D committee both to learn new technologies and other specialties and to contribute to the rest of the committee with the skills of its own specialty.
•Maintain controls for the Application function, showing up as a trustful source of technical information and guidance on tests with customers.
•Manage and provide insights inside and outside Application function.
•Align demands, timelines and expectations, fostering cross-functional cooperation.
•Solve conflicts and manage priorities within stakeholders.
Management Skills & Key Competencies:
•Five years minimal experience in bakery. Solid knowledge in bakery, including recipes, application of ingredients, and equipment commons in small and big bakery industries.
•Experience in Team and Project management.
•Full availability for frequent national and international travel (short and long term)

Education & languages:
·Bachelor’s degree in a relevant field (e.g., Food Engineering, Chemistry, or related disciplines).
·Master’s degree is a plus.
·English is a must.
·Spanish is a strong plus.
