Job description
The role is crucial in developing and maintaining relationships with government bodies, regulatory agencies, and other relevant stakeholders across our international markets as well as serving as the primary point of contact for them.
This position requires strong leadership, deep regulatory knowledge, exceptional communication skills, and the ability to navigate complex political landscapes.
Responsibilities:
Monitor legislative and regulatory developments, identifying potential opportunities and risks for the company.
Build and maintain positive relationships with government officials, regulators and other industry associations to influence and shape regulatory frameworks.
Serve as the primary point of contact for government bodies, regulatory agencies, and industry associations.
Advocate for the company's interests by providing expert insights and recommendations during the development of new laws and regulations.
Engage with policymakers, participate in industry forums, and contribute to shaping regulatory environments that benefit the company
Collaborate with legal and compliance teams to analyze proposed legislation and regulatory changes, providing guidance on potential impact and necessary adjustments.
Stay up-to-date with evolving regulatory requirements and ensure the company's policies and procedures are aligned with the latest standards
Cooperate with the Compliance team about the preparation and submission of licensing applications and renewals, ensuring compliance with regulatory requirements.
Represent the company in industry forums, conferences, and meetings, advocating for the company's interests and contributing to industry discussions.
Build a team across our international locations that will safeguard company's regulatory interests
Qualifications:
Bachelor's degree in law, business, public administration, or a related field.
7+ years of experience in regulatory affairs, government or public relations, communication, or a related field within the online gaming industry or other industries that are facing regulatory challenges.
In-depth knowledge of the regulatory landscape, laws, and compliance requirements applicable to the online gaming industry.
Proven experience in building and maintaining relationships with government bodies, regulatory agencies, and industry associations.
Strong analytical skills and the ability to interpret and apply complex regulations and legislation.
Excellent communication and negotiation skills, with the ability to effectively articulate the company's positions to external stakeholders.
Strong leadership skills, with the ability to influence and collaborate with cross-functional teams.
Exceptional organisational skills, with the ability to manage multiple priorities and meet deadlines.
High ethical standards and a commitment to promoting responsible gaming practices.
