Kenvue is currently recruiting for:
We are seeking a Principal Scientist of Trade Hazard Communication to join our team. The ideal candidate will lead UL/WERCS Smart Process (supplier/retailer regulatory and sustainability electronic compliance tool) for North America. The Manager of Trade Hazard Communication will update new products and ongoing changes, answer retailer inquiries, and connect with R&D, Legal, and Sales as appropriate. The Manager of Trade Hazard Communication will represent Kenvue on SIR (Supplier Ingredient Reporting) Trade Organization and own data for Consumer Distribution Environmental Data Base. The Manager of Trade Hazard Communication should have experience with hazardous waste requirements to answer inquiries of our NA Customers.
This position is based at Sao Jose dos Campos.

What You Will Do
The R&D Principal Scientist is responsible for:
Key Responsibilities
· Lead UL/WERCS Smart Process (supplier/retailer regulatory and sustainability electronic compliance tool) for North America.
· Update new products and ongoing changes.
· Answer retailer environmental and sustainability inquiries and connect with R&D, Legal, and Sales as appropriate.
· Represent Kenvue on SIR (Supplier Ingredient Reporting) Trade Organization.
· Own data for Consumer Distribution Environmental Data Base.
· Serve as SME on hazardous waste to answer inquires of our NA Customers.
Qualifications
What We Are Looking For
Required Qualifications
· Bachelor's degree in Chemistry, environmental science or a related scientific field
· Experience in leading UL/WERCS Smart Process (supplier/retailer regulatory and sustainability electronic compliance tool), SAP (ERP system), and/or a strong understanding of regulatory requirements and industry standards related to Hazard Communication is a plus .
· Excellent communication and collaboration skills, as well as the ability to manage multiple projects and deadlines simultaneously
· Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
· Strong computer skills with the ability to quickly learn new systems/processes.
· Experience in consumer products or a related industry is preferred.
