About Harting:
HARTING was established in 1945 in Espelkamp, Germany, by Wilhelm Harting. His goal was simple: manufacture useful technical products for the industry emerging in Germany. In 1965, we invented the rectangular connector after recognizing the need for an alternative to circular Mil Spec connectors. Field Sales Engineer - Southern region
Main activities and Responsibilities:
- Ensure the achievement of sales targets in the South region;
- Manage business growth in the territory with new and existing customers;
- Develop customized solutions for the customer, including all HARTING products and services;
- Manage projects (internal and external) and coordinate key clients;
- Monitor, communicate and regularly report competitive activity in markets and customers;
- Ensure that the management system for the area of responsibility is always kept up to date;
- Develop business with local distribution (if applicable);
- Coordinate technical support for customers/distribution together with product managers/specialists;
- Demonstrate convincing technical and commercial arguments when negotiating contracts;
- Share product, application and market knowledge to assist in company development;
- Be available for national travel.
Function Specific Knowledge:
- Experience in direct customer sales, shop floor sales, industrial automation or sales of industrial electrical products;
- Organization, analytical vision, communication and negotiation skills, self-motivation and teamwork;
- Live in the southern region of Brazil.
Education and Minimum Requirements:
- Bachelor’s degree in electrical/electronic/mechatronic engineering, or related areas.
- Advanced/Fluent English and desired Spanish (Will be tested in interview)
