Your Team & Role:

The Controller will be part of the global accounting and finance team. He / she will be the main point of contact for all accounting, financial reporting, tax and compliance duties for Brazil.

Your day to day:

• Full general ledger maintenance and responsibilities, including necessary reconciliations.
• Comfortable with data entry as well as drafting monthly reports.
• Cashflow planning and management.
• Develop and implement accounting policies and procedures to ensure compliance with Brazilian GAAP and IFRS.
• Ensure an accurate & timely monthly and year-end accounting close.
• Assist with monthly variance analysis.
• Assist with inventory management, reconciliation and reporting.
• Assist with the monthly and quarterly commission calculation.
• Responsible for full local tax and other relevant government compliance in conjunction with external professional accounting firms.
• Perform other ad hoc tasks as required.
• Global Environment: Israel and PST Time may be needed.

What you bring:

• Fully bilingual (read, write and speak) - English & Portuguese.
• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting.
• Working knowledge of Brazilian GAAP and IFRS.
• Registration with the CFC, CRC.
• 5+ years of experience in a position at or above Accounting Manager level.
• Experience with ERP (Enterprise Resource Planning) system (NetSuite experience will be a bonus)
• Excel Advanced.
• Regulatory knowledge.
• Well-organized with the ability to prioritize.
• Very good communication and interpersonal skills.
• Attention to detail and problem-solving ability.

Nice to haves:

• Previous experience with the global accounting team.
• Forex experience.
• Recurring revenue industry experience.
• Experience with an ERP implementation.
• CPA International.
