Job description
The Regional Operations Manager Latam assures the implementation of Red Bull standards of Operations in the areas of Logistics, Customs, Customer Service, Distribution Partner Management, Quality, Facilities&Services, and Sustainability to ensure the supply of our products in a way that reflects the premium brand of Red Bull in the smaller markets and supports the Area Operations Manager in these responsibilities for the whole region.

- Tracks markets’ performance and KPI’s by leading forums of performance review to drive continuous improvement in the local operations. Responsible for program and project management in the region.
- Part of a regional team that works together to be Operations ambassadors, guarantee global guidelines, and foster the collaboration of the Operations community in the region. Leads regional initiatives of key-user program and markets benchmarking.
- Collaborates with the specialists in HQ in the development of the Red Bull standards. Supports the implementation of the right departmental structures and the best Operations Team anticipating future needs of the organization.
- Constant ownership, leadership & communication on Operations highlights on local and HQ level.
- Supports the Area Operations Manager across the full regional scope with information, inputs, contribution to the strategy construction, dashboards, and transparency tools for better decision making. Delivers structured support of business objectives and deliver an optimum service professionally to achieve business excellence by collaborating not only inside Operations but also with the other functions and LATAM leadership team.
- Provide strategic and tactical guidance/mentoring to the local Operations Managers. Involved in the recruitment of Local Operations Managers and ensure proper structure of the team, right competences of the team and adequate target setting. Develop shared services at regional level if beneficial.
- Support local teams in 3PL Tender. Evaluation, monitoring and performance of 3PLs. Assurance that 3PL comply with Red Bull standards and legal contract in all Operational topics.
- Support local teams with inputs, guidance, troubleshooting, and connection with HQ in the areas of Logistics, Customer Service, new systems implementations, or current systems changes in these areas, and Process Optimization and Automation.
- Lead performance review meetings with the markets for tracking, action standard for continuous improvement and follow up by the AOM.
- Support a proper implementation, monitoring and improvement of International and Local KPIs.
- Together with Global Operations Manager DP and the DP markets managers, ensure operations requirements are met in DP Agreements and translation of DP Agreements (operations manual) to daily execution of the Distribution Partners. Regional responsible for the Pathfinder projects in Operations LATAM.
- Drive continuous improvement and identify best business practices for markets in the region, prevalent through the mechanics of benchmarking & root cause analysis to have lean supply chain systems and effective and efficient processes in place to handle finished goods and advertising material.
- Look for opportunities of regional optimization.
- To support alignment of structure, strategies & processes of the Operations department that will cater to the future needs of business of the area within the Red Bull Group.
- Supports the Area Operations Manager across the full regional scope with information, inputs, contribution to the strategy construction, dashboards, and transparency tools for better decision making.
EXPERIENCE
Your areas of knowledge and expertise
that matter most for this role:
- University Degree (Engineering, Business Administration, etc.). including specialized qualifications in Supply Chain Management
- Several years (at least 7) of experience in the area of Operations
- Experience of working within an international supply chain in a group context
- Proven experience in strategic business integration cross functionally
- Records of business relationship management, change- & project management
- Analytical and eye for detail are a pre-requisite for this position so is the ability to remotely manage the supply chain operation.
- An entrepreneurial ‘can do’ attitude facilitated by continuous learning and application of appropriate ‘best practices’.
- Excellent people manager and leader who has ability to motivate others in a pressurized environment.
- Dynamic & Energetic team player able to meet deadlines and being stress resistant.
- Deep working knowledge of SAP R/3 is a strong plus. Good skills on all MS products such as Excel, Word and PowerPoint are a must.
- Mastery of written and spoken English.
- Spanish is desirable.
