What we expect from you:
- Advanced English (will be tested during the selection process).
- Completed bachelor’s degree in: Electrical Engineering; Automation Engineering; Mechanical Engineering.
- Willingness to relocate to Navegantes/SC.
- Willingness to work offshore and travel (nationally and internationally).
- CREA (professional register) - active.
- Knowledge of reading and interpreting technical drawings (mechanical, hydraulic, and electrical diagrams).
Responsibilities:
- Perform interventions in Huisman equipment automation systems through analysis, procedures and tests indicated by the company.
- Perform analysis of malfunctions and system data, propose technical approaches, solutions and modifications respecting the software architecture of the equipment, striving for safety and operability.
- Act independently in the commissioning, maintenance, improvements, updates, provision of services and testing of equipment, according to the requirements of the projects, in order to obtain good results.
- Analyze and calculate system data, proposing improvements, in order to avoid future problems;
- Support Development of a software according to the indicated requirements;
- Propose technical solutions for maintenance and improvement regarding equipment software and hardware;
- Supervise and/or perform preventive and corrective maintenance on equipment in mechanical, hydraulic, electrical and control systems;
- Provide support during the commissioning and testing of the equipment and/or part thereof;
- Determine and take care of the materials necessary to carry out the activities;
- Work together with the project team, assisting in its area of expertise;
- Provide support during the preparation and execution of the project;
- Identify problems and suggest process improvement;
- Deliver adequate and complete documentation;
- Perform the activities independently according to the procedures so that the equipment has the specifications agreed with the customer;
- Act as an interlocutor between the client's technical team and Huisman's engineering;
- Perform analysis of malfunctions according to the instructions of the company and provide solutions;
- Provide support and advise the customer on technical aspects of the equipment;
- Lead tasks with employees and subcontractors;
- Perform tasks independently when necessary;
- Determine and take care of the resources and tools used in the service;
- Work on-site in order to solve problems in the best way;
- Evaluate the operation of the equipment, according to the specifications;
- Prepare work plan and risk analysis in accordance with Huisman's safety policy;
- Comply with safety standards and be aware of safety tools (work authorization, risk assessment, work instruments and others);
- Act as a focal point of contact on the project site.
