We value collaboration and openness and strive for the highest standards of excellence. We are actively looking for an Application Security Engineer to join a project of our US-based customer. Project details: Our client is a widely-known American company that is working on tools and advice for you to make it easy to pay off debt, choose the best of the best financial products and services (insurance, credit cards, etc.), and tackle your major life goals (saving for retirement, buying a house, etc.). Technology stack: Python Ruby Terraform Responsibilities: Review code for vulnerabilities, threat model systems, configure and triage application security tooling, and firewalls. Design and implement applications to scale security initiatives. Occasional On-Call First Responder status to address urgent security issues that occur outside of regular business hours. Requirements: Relevant experience: 7+ years Experience writing and reviewing code in the following tools and languages - Python (MUST Have), Ruby (MUST Have), Terraform. Experience threat modeling (STRIDE, PASTA, etc.) system architectures and designs. Experience configuring and triaging issues from tools like SCA, SAST, DAST, bug bounty platforms. Command of web application vulnerabilities - how they present themselves in code and network traffic, their impact, and how to mitigate them. Communication - excellent English fluency.Job tags
