About the role
Business Operations Manager
Job Summary: The Business Operations Manager works remotely to support team members and maintain the Projects and daily operations of the company. He/She will be responsible for planning, implementing, and managing operational processes to meet the organization's strategic goals. This role involves collaborating with various departments, analyzing workflows, and implementing improvements to enhance overall business performance.. The ideal candidate will have a proven track record of successfully overseeing the planning, implementation, and tracking of projects, as well as, strong leadership skills, a strategic mindset, and a proven track record in optimizing business operations. The Business Operations Manager will be responsible for leading teams, managing projects and timeline, and ensuring results meet requirements.
Tasks and Responsibilities: The critical role makes an impact by performing the following critical tasks:
- Establish a foundation of organization and stability for our current live courses, the course managers and their respective teams.
- Oversee new course development, including the course launches and course schedule for 2024 and beyond
- Assist in creating more available time and freeing up some workload for Dr. Aimie by helping in effectively delegating tasks among team members, coordinating the team's efforts, managing workflows, optimizing procedures and streamlining operational processes so that Dr. Aimie can focus further on shaping the overarching vision for the business.
- Take a proactive approach in your training process including actively identifying priorities in the learning process, define areas for improvement, anticipate potential challenges, and take the initiative to implement solutions or propose more effective alternatives. Your proactive involvement extends to defining strategic interventions that can effectively surmount challenges and elevate your overall training experience, and make it just as effective even with little to no supervision.
- Develop and implement operational strategies aligned with the organization's objectives.
- Establish accountable outcomes to measure and monitor operational performance.
- Establish and maintain project plans and timelines, including developing and tracking project milestones and deliverables
- Manage project resources, including personnel, systems, and documents available
- Lead and coordinate teams and personnel to ensure the successful completion of projects and achieve operational excellence.
- Monitor and report on project progress, anticipating and resolving issues as they arise
- Develop and maintain relationships with internal and external team/personnel and foster a collaborative and positive work environment.
- Identify areas for improvement and develop strategies to improve project and personnel performance
- Provide leadership and guidance to project teams and personnel to ensure they meet performance targets.
- Other Duties and Responsibilities:
- Provide regular updates and reports on operational performance to Dr. Aimie
- Create and update SOPs as needed for your tasks
- Respond quickly to emails and google chat messages
- Assist with any other tasks requested
- Track project progress on Asana
About you
Qualifications and Skills:
- Bachelor’s degree in business, operations management, project management or related field
- 5+ years of experience in project management and business operations.
- Strong organizational, problem-solving, and communication skills
- Excellent leadership and team management skills
- Ability to effectively manage multiple projects simultaneously
- Experience is working directly with the owner or CEO of the company
- Proficiency with Asana
- Proficiency in AI tools
- Excellent English writing and speaking skills
- Strong attention to detail and accuracy
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
- Ability to work independently in a fast-paced environment
