As an Accountant you’ll play a vital role in our success by being responsible for risk and control environment, reporting and developing internal control processes. Responsible for preparing and analyzing facility financial reporting.
Ensure Maersk processes and procedures are being adhered to.
General ledger analysis and account reconciliations.
Review, investigate, and correct errors and inconsistencies in financial entries.
Frequent communication with the Controller and Financial Business Partners, regarding working capital and financial reporting.
Balance Sheet reconciliations performed for monthly closing.
Reconciliation of intercompany transactions.
Reconciliation of overseas agent transactions.
Process and monitor journal entries.
Process and monitor revenue and expense accruals.
Assist Controller with internal and external audit requests.
We are looking for:
Academic Background in Finance, Cost Management, Accounting or related fields.
5 to 7 years of experience in Accounting, managing processes such as: risk management, balance sheet reconciliations, General Ledger accounting and/or similar functions as the ones mentioned above.
Knowledge in IFRS (International Financial Reporting Standards) is preferred (nice to have).
Advanced English Level, oral and written (Required).
Workday Finance and NetSuit Finance (Nice to have).
Excellent Excel skills, Reporting, Analyzing and Pivot Tables.
Excellent proactive, analytical, innovativeand structured working method.
Adapts to high workload and unplanned
activities.
