Job description
Responsibilities: Monitor proper posting of all supplier invoices based on the accounting, cost centers and tax rules of the country’s trading companies in Europe Ensure payment is performed and recorded in a timely manner Responsible for month end reconciliation of the accounts payable sub ledger, accounts payable aged analysis, debtors reconciliation, prepayment and accrual calculation Other Ad hoc administrative and financial projects that will occur from time to time Coordinate Purchase Orders Review of employee personal expense claims in accordance with company Travel Policy Perform weekly bank reconciliation for payables bank accounts Monitor departments budget and work closely with them to ensure effectiveness and correctness of the underlying costs AP coordinator between the EU local accounts and the EU Headquarter Requirements: Relevant academic background in finance/accounting 3-5 years experience in a similar role Ability to analyze and interpret financial data and prepare financial analysis and reconciliations of budget and costs Attention to detail Strong flexibility and adaptability Team player with hands on approach to problem solving Strong interpersonal skills, collaborative work style, and ability to effectively manage shifting priorities Fluent in English and German, any other European language skills are considered a plus Excellent skills in MS excel and other MS office tools; lookup and pivot table are considered to be a strong advantage
