Job description
A U.S.-based company that is on a mission to connect people through sports while leveraging cutting-edge technology, is looking for a Full-Stack Engineer. The engineer will be responsible for implementing quality industry standards and conducting regular code reviews. The company is developing a platform to help manage sports and make it easier for participants in different sports to communicate and coordinate. The company has managed to successfully secure more than $56mn in funding so far.
Job Responsibilities:
- Take ownership of and design software system architecture
- Design scalable web services and applications to enhance user experience
- Take care of the server-side, by writing clean and reusable code
- Identify technical bottlenecks and fix bugs to improve software efficiency
- Initiate communication with various internal teams to define the scope and scale of software projects
Job Requirements:
- Bachelor’s/Master’s degree in Engineering, Computer Science (or equivalent experience)
- At least 3+ years of relevant experience as a full-stack Engineer
- Extensive expertise in JavaScript and Ruby
- Skills in TypeScript, React, Redux, and Ruby on Rails will be an added advantage
- Proficient in spoken and written English communication
