Job description
RESPONSIBILITIES:
Handling commercial issues with suppliers and assessing supplier performance.
Develop and manage suppliers under the guidance of Quality, Service, Technology, and Price strategies. This includes sound understanding of required program lead times, supplier lead times and capacities.
Building and maintaining strong supplier relations.
Active participation with key stakeholders – Engineering , Manufacturing, Quality and Supply Chain.
Ability to work effectively cross functionally, both internally and externally and build relationships.
Maintain Performance Pipeline for budgetary requirements
Lead Strategic Supplier Cost Savings Initiatives.
Adhere to Corporate purchasing and accounting policies and procedures.
Utilize Direct Material Sourcing Process (Request for Quotation, Analysis of Quotation, Source Selection) to establish a capable/competitive supply base.
Negotiate renewal or resource of Blanket Orders
Skills
Bachelor degreed in Business Administration, Engerineering or corretaled are
Advanced level of English is required
Spanish is a plus
Experience with commodities (electrical components, plastic parts, resins, paint, etc.).
Proven competence in negotiating skills.
Professional interpersonal verbal and written communication skills
Ability to perform in depth analysis of all cost drivers, learn and develop sound strategies based on changing market developments, market pricing and commodities trends.
Strong quantitative and mathematical abilities.
Ability to manage multiple suppliers.
