The Amazon Prime Video team is shaping the future of digital video entertainment. Our mission is to offer customers the widest selection of digital video content including Amazon original content and make it trivially easy for them to enjoy it wherever and whenever they want. We are just getting started in Brazil with Prime Video, but have very ambitious goals to become a leading player in the video entertainment industry and delight our customers with a great service and broad content.
We are looking for a highly-motivated, innovative and results-oriented Senior Executive to manage and lead the Content Brand Managers team, and help grow our business. The role will focus on setting the marketing strategy for all Brazil content slate and also planning and executing campaigns for our key Exclusive and Local Original TV shows and films. This role will span co-ordination across a wide-range of cross functional teams and external partners which will include media vendors, production companies, talent agencies and our Amazon Studios division. This executive will have the chance to set industry standards and impact the local entertainment business.

This Executive must be comfortable in a fast-paced environment and have proven experience planning and executing marketing campaigns across big cross functional teams. The ideal candidate should be able to negotiate with key business partners and pan-regional teams to gain alignment on marketing plans and ultimately manage all aspects of project execution. They must be a self-starter who is able to prioritize and deliver on deadlines with minimal supervision, has the ability to persuade, inspire and motivate his team members and other stakeholders and drive results.
They should be able to think/act strategically, develop structured plans and be willing to execute hands on with a start-up type of mentality, while balancing creativity with analytics and agility with operational discipline. Candidates should be both idea generators and builders, with a sense of accountability, and a keen focus on delivering great customer experiences with measurable results. They should thrive in a culture of decisions based on analytics, be comfortable diving deep into the data, yet able to step-back and communicate both the strategic and immediate implications on priorities.

Key job responsibilities
- Lead, align, motivate and manage a strong team of Content Brand managers;
- Lead and develop a long-term marketing strategy to support our full content slate, including Exclusive Global Content, Local originals and Channels
- Co-own and contribute to design and implement complete launch plans and execution of marketing campaigns for our Local Exclusive and Original TV show and films;
- Develop audience testing and research;
- Dive deep into data and research insights to support the Marketing Strategy;
- Lead creative process for Local Content from concept ideas to testing, to deployment in partnership with external vendors and internal stakeholders;
- Partner with a wide-range of internal teams (from Marketing to Tech teams) to identify and prioritize needs for the Exclusive and Original shows and films;
- Document and present strategies and periodic updates to internal and external audiences, including stakeholder’s management and progress reporting.
- Assure key learnings are captured and shared with the larger organization beyond Brazil territory;
- Lead cross functional teams to guarantee execution consistency on campaigns implemented in Brazil
- Be the Brazil marketing expert working integrated with a Central Marketing team to guarantee country brand consistency
- Lead and control the marketing budget across all initiatives that happens in the country

BASIC QUALIFICATIONS

- 10+ years of professional non-internship marketing experience, with relevant leadership level experience in consumer marketing (ideally in entertainment);
- Experience in building, executing and scaling cross-functional marketing programs, using data and metrics to drive improvements;
- Experience driving direction and alignment with cross-functional teams;
- Fluent written and spoken Portuguese and English;
- Demonstrated ability to operate both strategically and tactically in a high-energy, fast-paced environment;
- Excellent communicator both verbally and written with an ability to communicate with all levels in the organization (technical, business, executive)
