Who are we looking for TapGoods is seeking a QA Engineer to join our dynamic team that is leading the way in the rental SaaS industry. As a QA Engineer, you will play a vital role in maintaining the high standard of our software products for our customers. If you have strong analytical skills, excellent problem-solving abilities, and a desire to work in a collaborative and friendly environment, we would love to hear from you! In this role, you will work closely with cross-functional teams to ensure that our software meets both internal and external quality standards. You will have the opportunity to contribute to the entire software development lifecycle, from requirement gathering to final release. Additionally, you will be responsible for testing and identifying defects in our software, as well as working with developers to address them. Your attention to detail and ability to prioritize tasks will be essential in ensuring the successful delivery of high-quality software. Responsibilities Conduct functional, regression, and performance testing of software applications Develop and execute test plans, test cases, and test scripts to ensure software quality Collaborate with cross-functional teams to understand product requirements and design test strategies Identify, document, and track software defects, and verify their resolution Work closely with developers to reproduce and resolve issues Participate in code reviews to ensure adherence to QA standards Provide recommendations for improving software quality and efficiency Requirements Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or related field Proven experience in software testing and quality assurance Strong analytical skills and attention to detail Proficiency in test case design and execution Experience with test management tools such as Qase or TestRail Familiarity with programming languages like JavaScript, Ruby on Rails, and MySQL Knowledge of software development methodologies, including Agile and Scrum Excellent communication and collaboration skills Ability to thrive in a fully remote organization Familiarity with test automation tools such as Selenium or Cypress Our Culture We are a nimble, fast-growing startup with a remote work environment.
