Hi, this is Valentina from CI&T! I am a Talent Attracting Analyst looking for people located in Brazil for a Mid-Level Drupal Developer position to join us! If you are interested, please upload your resume in English.

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Mid-Level Drupal Engineer with strong front-end capabilities. As a Mid-Level Drupal Engineer you will be directly involved in Drupal project development working together with other developers on a website redesign project. You will participate in meetings with technical teams from CI&T and customers. If you are a motivated individual with a passion for Drupal and a solid understanding of its ecosystem, we encourage you to apply.

Responsibilities:

Back-end:

- Implement caching mechanisms to optimize website performance.

- Implement custom views to display data in different formats.

- Develop custom RESTful APIs for seamless integration with external systems.

- Troubleshoot and resolve complex issues related to Drupal site functionality.

- Maintain and enhance existing Drupal modules and themes.

Front-end:

- Collaborate with UX/UI designers to create user-friendly and visually appealing interfaces.

- Work on the design of a new Drupal theme through the design of components as well as best practices for web/mobile development.

- Conduct performance optimization for front-end assets, such as images and scripts.

- Utilize modern front-end frameworks and libraries to enhance user experiences.

- Stay updated on the latest front-end technologies and trends.

- Implement responsive design principles using Grid, Flex, CSS, and SASS to ensure consistent and visually appealing user experiences across all devices.

Collaboration and Communication:

- Work closely with designers and other developers to translate business requirements into technical and effective solutions.

- Share your knowledge and insights with the team, contributing to the growth and enhancement of our Drupal capabilities.

Requirements:

- Experience with PHP 7 and above using Object-oriented programming.

- Experience with Drupal 8/9/10, working with contributed and custom modules and themes.

- Experience using Composer to manage project dependencies.

- Experience with projects working with relational databases (preferably MySQL or PostgreSQL).

- Experience with version control (preferably Git).

- Advanced English.

Nice to have:

- Agile Project Participation: Experience in Agile software development methodologies is highly valued. Candidates who can demonstrate their adaptability to rapid changes and their proactive communication skills in sprints contribute significantly to the team's efficiency and the dynamic execution of projects.

- Familiarity with Continuous Integration and Continuous Delivery pipelines (DevOps principles).

- Desired experience with Pantheon hosting platform: This knowledge can streamline our workflow and improve website performance and reliability.

- Bootstrap UI Proficiency: Given our focus on responsive design, proficiency in Bootstrap or similar CSS frameworks is advantageous. This skill allows for quicker implementation of visually appealing and user-friendly interfaces, enhancing the overall user experience of our projects.

- Collaboration and Communication: Exceptional teamwork, communication, and interpersonal skills make a significant difference in our collaborative environment. We value candidates who can effectively articulate ideas, provide constructive feedback, and contribute positively to our team culture.

- Performance Optimization Expertise: Experience in optimizing Drupal websites for speed and scalability.

- Security Best Practices Awareness: A strong understanding of security best practices in Drupal development is crucial for protecting against vulnerabilities.

- Comprehensive Documentation skills: The ability to maintain clear, thorough, and up-to-date documentation for code and configurations is invaluable.
