Job description
You will be responsible for providing comprehensive operational HR support to employees and managers and guidance on a range of HR queries within Brazil. You will support the International HRBP team in the delivery of global and local initiatives, and process improvement projects. The HR professional team also works closely with the Talent Acquisition and Learning and Development teams, whilst enhancing the overall employee experience.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
LOCAL ADVISOR
- First point of contact for all Brazilian managers and employees on process and policy enquiries.
- Manage employee relations issues within Brazil, providing support to managers and team leads as required to minimize risk.
- Review all local policies in line with legislation changes, and update these in the relevant employee handbooks.
- Work with Finance team on payroll and benefits related tasks including setting up any new provider; transferring employees; audits.
- Engage the immigration team on visa applications
- Keep up to date with external trends and best practice
ASSOCIATE HRBP
- Build trust-based relationships with an International client group at manager level and internal HR teams.
- Provide day-to-day performance guidance to people managers (e.g., coaching, counseling, disciplinary actions).
- Retrieve and review data to analyze trends and metrics in partnership with the HRBP to recommend solutions, programs, and policies.
- Provide compensation support including job leveling and compensation reviews.
- Partner with and leverage COEs and HR Shared Services to implement HR programs and drive efficiency.
- Work proactively with colleagues across a global team to ensure an integrated approach to HR service delivery.
- Additional responsibilities as assigned.
PROJECTS
- Represent HR in any local Brazilian projects
- Work with the Global HR team on several core projects, such as culture, wellbeing, diversity & inclusion and change management.
- Collaborate with and support the local Rad Squad team (internal employee group) by defining the topics, owning the decks and action plans.
- Support the Global HRBP team in ad-hoc projects (payroll audits, Workday audits, after action reviews, etc.)

Technical /functional expertise
- Experience with remote management and the challenges that brings
- Minimum 2 years’ experience in a Brazilian HR environment
- A Bachelor’s Degree in Human Resources Management or equivalent is required
- Brazilian employment law knowledge
- Ability to own and manage employee relations issues
- Used to working in complex and/or global matrix organizations
- Excellent skills with PowerPoint and Excel
- Prior experience partnering with COE’s would be preferred
