You re not just a designer; you re a creative thinker, a proactive problem-solver, and a UI artist who loves to work on a wide variety of projects. Here s what makes you tick:
- You dive headfirst into any UX/UI design challenge, whether it s web/mobile apps, conceptual designs, websites, wireframes, or landing pages. No design task is too big or small for you.
- You re always thinking ahead and sketching down ideas that you can t wait to share. You explore multiple design variations to ensure the details are just right.
- You re extremely organized and transparent, using project management systems like Jira to keep tasks up-to-date and files in the right place. You also expect the same from your teammates.
- You never miss the details. Your designs are polished, with no lorem ipsum or missing calls to action. You understand that the best UI comes from the finer details.
- You excel in communication with clients, the team, and contractors. You respond to emails and messages quickly and are not afraid to ask tough questions. You re a collaborative problem solver.
- Staying up-to-date with the latest design trends, best practices, and new tools is your jam. You re eager to try out new and improved tools or programs and love working on fun side projects.
- You enjoy working closely with developers to ensure a seamless handoff of assets. Discussing options and breaking down elements with developers to bring your designs to life is second nature to you.
- Presenting your work is one of your favorite things to do. You take pride in making sure your work shines, and you can talk endlessly about all the decisions you made to get there. Creating explainer documents/videos and having meetings with team members to ensure alignment is your forte.
- You love setting and meeting deadlines. Ensuring the client and team know when something is expected to be delivered is second nature to you. If a deadline can t be met, you communicate promptly with your reasoning and a new timeline.
- We operate in Figma, and you must be an expert in everything Figma-related. Creating component libraries and design systems that translate designs to code is a must.
- Proficiency in creating user flows and site diagrams with Overflow.
- Familiarity with Jira as our project management tool for task creation and management.
- Efficient use of Slack for direct messaging with the internal team, clients, and contractors.
Our Team:
We usually work on US EST time, but our team is distributed, making it a great fit for digital nomads.
