Description

​Lead & execute DSX programs priorities, having OnStar & Connected Services as main focus, advocating for SA needs and driving a customer-first attitude across adjacent teams.

Work with broader business teams to collect business and Customer needs and translate into EPICs/features/user stories which align with overall digital strategy for OnStar and Connected Services

Aggregate all input and insights related to the assigned channels and serve as the voice of regional business and customers to global stakeholders

Develop and maintain a product vision roadmap to achieve OKRs established across multiple channels, platforms and customer journey to achieve a timely and flawless implementation of new features and future enhancements

Collaborate with other regional digital product owners to support backlog management and work with global Product Owners and ARTs to prioritize and ensure timely delivery of required features

Establish productive relationships with global business functions and be involved in relationship building and cultivation with multifunctional teams to support design integration and interaction across digital platforms and channels

Recommend trade-off decisions related to feature importance vs. technical feasibility and timing for a given development sprint cycle

Manage legal and regulatory compliance (partner with GM Legal & Privacy)

Effectively communicate strategy concepts and solutions to leadership to pursue alignment and buy-in

Develop overall timelines for the project implementation, as well as support the development of detailed timelines by function.

Be the guardian of the project roadmap for a successful implementation on time and flawlessly.

Coordinate cross functional meetings to support Project completion according to regional needs.

Anticipate and warn senior leadership of potential roadblocks, delays of targets to be missed way ahead of time.

Additional Description

SKILLS:

Project management skills with ability to apply agile methodologies, design thinking, and to foster a test & learn mentality

Strategic ambidextrous perspectives - short term MVP for going to market on time and long-term growth and improvements

Knowledge of automotive customer facing channels and customer experience trends

Knowledge of digital product lifecycle management

Experience of agile software development process

Teamwork

EXPERIENCE:

Bachelor's degree

Proficiency in English, Spanish as desirable additional language

2 years of experience in complex project management is mandatory

Overall understanding about OnStar and Digital business back office architecture and systems integration is a plus
