Organisation: Out of Home ( OOH ) Business Area Scandinavia and Central Europe ( SCACE )
We are currently seeking a highly motivated and experienced Category Manager OOH to join our Business Area SCA & CE OOH team. This is a permanent position that will play a central part in our next stage of OOH growth, reporting directly to our OOH Commercial Director.
“Accelerate Growth in Out of Home” is a strat egic focus are a within Paulig. A strategic direction has been set with a common Paulig Strategy for Out of Home and a change process to capture growth has been initiated .
Purpose :
Maximize sustainable short- and long-term sales, profitability and market grip in the ScaCE Out of Home markets in line with Paulig vision/strategy.
Lead and manage category management processes and identify Paulig opportunities across ScaCE Out of Home Markets .
Deepen customer relationships with wholesale and key accounts through category leadership and category value growth .
Secure Paulig share of sales through identified OOH segments through insight, trends and customer understanding .
Key Responsibilities :
Be consumer centric in all aspects of work, projects and opportunities and drive the behaviour into the business .
Maximise the performance of Paulig categories through a strategic approach to sales propositions with long term benefits .
Execute the Paulig OOH category management framework across all Out of Home Scandinavia and Central Europe markets/teams.
Mapping of Out of Home Markets – to identify segment and category opportunities for Paulig .
Collaborate with local market teams to maximise the performance of the Paulig categories by identifing growth and customer specific opportunities, obtaining relevant insight and data to support compelling customer propositions, concepts and NPD launches by market.
Build relationships and trust and be seen as a category expert across consumer, market, customer and product both internally and externally to influence sustainable category growth for profitable mutual benefit.
Provide cross functional support to Commercial teams, Local Marketing, BA Marketing, Growth Revenue Team and M&I
Drive and support wholesaler/key accounts teams with push and pull strategies .
Role model the Paulig Vision, Growth strategies and leadership principles
Develop, maintain and proactively extend a strong network of relationships internally and externally to understand and predict customer opportunities and needs – proactively searching for, identifying and realizing good business opportunities for Paulig.
Requirements:
At least 5 years category experience across FMCG businesses
Proven track record of growing categories and gaining/growing customers
Great analytical skills with a strategic mind
Ability to structure, prioritize and utilize category management processes
Understanding of consumer and insight research techniques
Understanding of Route to Market process
Ability to source and utilize several data/insight inputs to create compelling propositions (turn insight into action)
Present with impact
Ability to see bigger picture and act quickly
Adopt to change
Fluent in local language – good knowledge of English
Ownership of business growth and results with customers
Competent with Microsoft Power point, Excel, Outlook and Word
