Job description
The legal team protects Red Bull, its people, partners and vendors by adding value to each product line and initiative. Legal is divided into Legal Business Partners for the Beverage Business and Corporate Projects, Specialist Departments and Centers of Expertise.
The Regulatory Specialist assists the LATAM Regional team by offering technical and legal evaluations and advice related to overall regulatory compliance, food law, advertising law, and ingredient safety for Red Bull products. Additionally, they are tasked with maintaining up-to-date information on amendments to technical regulations in the LATAM region. This includes changes to additive regulations, packaging regulations, allergens, and any other factors that could affect the current or future compliance of Red Bull products in the region. RESPONSIBILITIES

All the responsibilities we'll trust you with:
- Collaborate with HQ stakeholders (Labelling, Operations, Product Compliance, Science) on key projects and initiatives for ensuring regulatory compliance.
- Keep the Regulatory and Government Affairs Manager and other key stakeholders updated on LATAM region developments, including updates, amendments, or new restrictions on additives, ingredients, allergens, and packaging materials for Red Bull products.
- Perform legal reviews of new or amended product recipes to assess compliance with local regulations.
- Conduct reviews and research on relevant regulatory, technical, and scientific topics related to ensuring regulatory compliance.
- Assist the business and the LATAM Regional team in submitting applications to Regulatory Authorities for product registrations.

- Capacity to manage multiple projects/stakeholders simultaneously within timelines.
- Ability to efficiently manage external legal counsel.
- Ability to research and navigate through scientific and technical topics.
- Approximately 5+ years’ experience preferred in the food industry or beverage industry.
- Knowledge of local regulators, government agencies, risk assessment bodies, and consumer protection agencies in the LATAM region.
- Degree in Life Sciences (Pharmacy or Chemistry), Food Science & Technology (or Pharma/Chemistry), Food Engineering, Food Law, or associated technical areas.
- Language requirement: Spanish, High English level and Portuguese is an advantage.
