Job description
We are seeking an Operations/Risk Management Analyst to join our fund management team. As a key member of our operations team, the successful candidate will play a crucial role in ensuring the seamless execution and oversight of our trade support, risk control, and middle/back-office functions. Responsibilities:
• Perform daily trade conciliation, ensuring the accuracy and timeliness of post-trade processes.
• Develop, implement, and monitor various risk metrics to safeguard the fund's operational integrity.
• Conduct thorough conciliation of Net Asset Value (NAV) calculations and ensure their accurate publication, maintaining transparency and reliability in our fund's valuation.
• Engage in risk control activities for the pre-trade process, identifying potential issues and implementing preventative measures.
• Contribute to the effectiveness of the middle and back-office functions, streamlining processes and ensuring efficient operational excellence.
• Collaborate closely with internal and external stakeholders to enhance operational workflows and resolve issues.
• Maintain a proactive approach to identifying and addressing operational risks and inefficiencies.
Requirements:
• Bachelor's degree in Finance, Economics, Business Administration, Accounting, Engineering, or a related field.
• Proven experience in trade support, risk management, or operations within an asset manager.
• Proven experience in trade support, back or middle office within a brokerage environment.
• Proficiency in programming with Python, R, or VBA, capable of leveraging technology to solve complex problems and streamline processes.
• Familiarity with execution and order management systems, with a keen understanding of their significance in trade operations.
