Responsibilities: Develop test plans and test cases to verify telematics features using different requirement documents & reference material. Awareness of different telematics features like FOTA, Device Registration, communication, data consistency, transfer, storage services etc. Analyzing CAN communications between modules for data accuracy and troubleshoot the issue. Validate embedded software utilizing communication protocols such as CAN, J1939, UDS etc. Configuring secured Internet Protocols and MQTT for establishing connection between clients and cloud web service provider. Awareness on basics of MATLAB Simulink. Knowledge of developing Automated test cases. Performing both Automated as well as Manual testing and Maintaining Test results. Executing various kinds of testing like Sanity testing, Regression testing, Function testing, Feature testing. Debugging Software as well as hardware issues. Knowledge on defect tracking tools such as JIRA, confluence, and configuration management tools. Working with project stakeholders to support with project planning and release activities. Coordinating with cross-functional teams and providing technical support to resolve identified issues to enhance the quality of product. Requirements: Hardware-in-the-loop (HIL) Testing experience. Automotive Domain testing experience. MATLAB Simulink (minimum of intermediate level knowledge). Experience with manual and automated testing. Hands-on experience in NI TestStand or any programming language. Experience in Communication Protocols – CAN and UDS. Masters in Electrical or Controls with years of experience. Optional Skills - Telematics domain experience, Internet Protocols like MQTT, Cloud services AWS or Databricks storage use. Supported skills - Windchill RV&S Client (PTC integrity), CANalyzer, MIL, Knowledge of AUTOSAR architecture.
