Job description
We are a recruitment company based in Colombo Sri Lanka and we are currently looking for an Area Sales Executive for one of the reputed cement manufacturing companies in Sri Lanka.
Requirements
- Develop and execute strategies to achieve sales targets within the assigned territory.
- Identify potential clients dealers and distributors and actively pursue new business opportunities.
- Build and maintain strong relationships with existing clients ensuring high levels of customer satisfaction.
- Regularly communicate with clients to understand their needs address concerns and provide timely support.
- Expand market presence by identifying and penetrating new geographical areas within the assigned territory.
- Conduct market research to identify emerging trends competitor activities and customer preferences.
- Develop comprehensive sales plans and forecasts to drive business growth and meet revenue targets.
- Monitor sales performance metrics analyze data and adjust strategies as needed to maximize results.
- Educate clients dealers and distributors about product features benefits and applications.
- Organize product demonstrations training sessions and promotional events to increase product awareness and drive sales.
Qualifications - A bachelor's degree in business administration marketing sales or a related field is typically required.
- Relevant certifications or additional training in sales and marketing are advantageous.
- Demonstrated success in a sales role preferably in the construction building materials or related industries.
- Track record of achieving and exceeding sales targets consistently.
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills both verbal and written.
- Ability to effectively communicate with clients negotiate terms and present product information.
- Proficiency in territory management and market analysis.
- Ability to identify and prioritize sales opportunities manage client relationships and expand market share.
- Highly motivated and resultsoriented individual with a proactive approach to sales.
- Strong analytical and problemsolving skills with the ability to adapt to changing market conditions and customer needs.
