As a Senior Presales Consultant, you’ll have experience in sales and delivery and have successfully led in-depth technical discussions and presentations with client executives, Enterprise Architects, and IT Management. The primary goal within the sales cycle is for you to understand the prospective client’s business, its strategy, processes, and challenges while understanding the current IT architecture and data flows and defining the best way our solution would fit in to guarantee the success of the project. You are the expert and trusted advisor when it comes to our platform demonstrations and C-level discovery sessions and are responsible for leading the demo from start to finish. You will be the first Pre-Sales hire in Brazil and will eventually support building the Pre-Sales team.
You will be based out of your home office to start until we identify an office location and will then have the opportunity to work in office, remote or adopt a hybrid schedule.
What you’ll do for us...
- Present the o9 platform through story-telling and positioning of o9 Solutions as a trusted business partner that will elevate the business’ current practices and create efficiencies in complex use-cases
- Subject Matter Expert for Retail or CPG industries, driving differentiated messaging and value propositions for implementing Supply Chain and Integrated Business Planning solutions.
- Participate in client discovery sessions to better understand client challenges, bottlenecks and value leakage analysis to tailor demo to complex and targeted scenarios
- Partner with the industry solution and account executive team to better understand and talk to the industry and target company challenges inside-out
- Oversee the creation and execution of specific demonstrations and proof of concepts
- Exercise creativity and business acumen in designing practical solutions to meet client needs
- Work with global sales and manage the RFP creation/discovery/platform demonstration building process in light of the strategic priorities
- Utilize industry demos as a starting point and architect desired incremental workflows in the o9 platform, as per the specific customer and industry needs
- Use and modify existing business impact and profitability models to construct ROI message in proposals
- Ensure a strong technical fit in the SaaS and technical offerings to the client’s analytical needs
- Document and transition deal knowledge to help ensure a successful transition to the implementation team for all winning proposals
What you’ll have…
- University degree required, Master’s degree preferred
- 5+ years of experience in a presales and/or technico-functional capacity
- Prior software pre-sales or industry advisor experience selling to companies from Retail, CPG, Brand Industries with senior leadership exposure to Brazilian and South American companies
- Proven experience in supply chain planning process & enterprise planning applications within the retail, brand, CPG space is a must
- Prior experience in presales and delivery with senior leadership exposure in Brazilian and/or Latin American markets required
- Excellent domain knowledge combined with excellent story-telling skills
- Strong listening abilities with the ability to read through the lines and understand the true concerns of prospects
- Proactive and innovative with experience in preparing demos, presentations, and tailored responses to follow-up questions
- Ability to demonstrate thought leadership and develop credibility with prospects as an expert in the area of planning
- Strong ability to lead by example and demonstrate proficiency in both product and domain.
- Customer empathy and business acumen with excellent communication skills
- Expertise in supply planning and optimization is preferred
- Expertise in R/Python preferred
- Executive presence and ability to communicate well and make an impact with senior executives and decision-makers
- Self-starter with passion, energy, willingness to learn, and an entrepreneurial mindset
- Fluent in English, Spanish, Portuguese
