Boeing Brazil is seeking Mid-Career Electronic Systems Engineers, reporting to the Electrical and Electronic Engineering Manager, working out of the Sao Jose dos Campos - SP office.
The Mid-Career Electronic Systems Engineers will join the Integrated Modular Avionics (IMA) team. All projects focus on design, development, and production support of Integrated Modular Avionics (IMA) Platform Architecture and Airplane Electronic Hardware (AEH) & Software.
Responsibilities include translation of concepts and high-level requirements to specific architectures and operational specifications, and the integration of avionics systems and components into our complex airplanes. Work with a worldwide team to implement system hardware and software. Verification of system designs at the component, system and airplane levels. Work with aircraft systems from initial concept through certification, delivery, and in-service support.
Position Responsibilities:
Experience with component design, development and qualification
Experience with system requirements documentation, validation, and verification
Experience with system safety analysis documentation
Experience with system configuration and architecture definition
Experience with analysis and decomposition of requirements into system, hardware and software designs and interface specifications
Experience with execution of verification plan for system designs to meet operational and functional requirements
This position is hybrid. This means that the selected candidate will be required to perform some work onsite at one of the listed location options. This is at the hiring team’s discretion and could potentially change in the future.

Basic Qualifications (Required Skills/Experience):
Must have existing rights to work in Brazil
Must have a degree in Engineering
Proficient in both verbal and written communications skills in the English Language
Must be registered or eligible to register with the Engineering and Agronomy Regional Council (Conselho Regional de Engenharia e Agronomia - CREA)
Some experience in defining and implementing engineering processes and methods
Preferred Qualifications (Education/Experience):
Bachelor’s degree in electrical or computer, automation, aeronautical Engineering
Experience with Electronic Systems hardware design
Some experience with Model Based Development tools
