Job description
Responsibilities include:
- Responsible for accounting reconciliation and analysis, including Inventory, Accounts Receivable (credit card) and Fixed assets control;
- Service to internal and external audits;
- Support to finance and business team;
- Prepare the financial statements and reports in accordance with Brazil and headquarter accounting principles (CPC and IFRS);
- Submission of monthly closing files to headquarters;
- Balance sheet accounts analysis;
- Responsible for register local provision;
- Produce accurate and timely financial statements;
- Management of financial contracts and loan renewals;
- General approvals and review of financial policies & procedures;
- Daily cash flow management and future forecast of payments and receipts;
- Team Management.
Fluent English|Retail and IFRS experience
- Ability to multitask and prioritize work to meet aggressive deadlines;
- Ability to deal with ambiguous situations and react quickly to a rapidly changing call center environment;
- Ability to work independently with minimal supervision and strong communication skills;
- Requires Weekends, Evenings and Holiday availability;
- University degree in accounting;
- Solid experience in accounts/finance as an Accounting Senior Coordinator or Manager;
- Registration as Certified Accountant ("CRC" active);
- Familiar with IFRS & CPC rules (theoretical and practically applied);
- Proficiency knowledge and experience of Excel. SAP an advantage;
- Bilingual: English and Spanish an advantage.
