We are actively seeking Engineering graduates with the following description:
Basic understanding of programming languages (Unix Shell scripting, SQL/PL-SQL, Java stored procedures).
Interested in DBA career.
Desire to learn, collaborate and contribute.
Oracle Certified Associate (OCA) in Database Administration/ Programming is an added advantage.
Excellent verbal and written communication in English.
Strong fundamentals of programing and Relational Database Concepts.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities
Perform daily database health checks
Monitoring the database alerts and resolve incidents following Standard operating procedures.
Perform simple user administration tasks such as password resets, exp/imp, user creation
Create/update Unix shell scripts for housekeeping tasks.
Work with cron jobs in Unix/Linux systems.
Participate in knowledge transfer session.
Create/Maintain standard operating procedures.
Skills
Bachelor’s degree in computer science or equivalent.
Good Communication skills and team player.
Understanding of incidents, service requests.
Basic knowledge to coding in Linux shell Scripting, SQL queries, PL-SQL.
Ability to work under pressure in a challenging environment.
Strong diligence with an analytical mind and outstanding critical thinking skills.
Completed Oracle Database Administration fundamentals training.
Completed training on Linux Operating System.
Desirable Knowledge
OCA 12c/19c.
Education
Engineering graduates.
Location
São Paulo office, Brazil
Language
Must have English Reading/Writing/Speaking at Business level.
