Job Description
Objective
Deliver necessary tech and data foundation and develop digital and data products to West and East Emerging Markets, by ensuring the seamless integration of these products with existing processes, legacy systems and the company's global tech and digital platforms, enhancing data infrastructure and architecture with IT support, to solve company’s most pressing business pain points, and to increase business impact and generate tangible EBITDA contribution to the company.
Activities
Tech Foundation:
- Develop and execute Data and Tech Strategy aligned with the company's business objectives, and global tech platforms, enhancing data infrastructure and architecture with IT support. Deliver necessary tech and data foundation to execute East and West Emerging Markets digital strategy and priorities such as microservices architecture, and infra as a service, provisioning teams with speed and autonomy to integrate data and software developments;
Team management
- Lead a multidisciplinary team of data and development professionals (from the PoDs, the area itself, and third parties) data scientists, architects, data engineers, software developers, and specialists in digital products. Set clear goals and objectives, provide technical guidance, and promote skills development to ensure the delivery of digital initiatives and high-quality results;
Digital Product Development
- Collaborate with internal and external teams to develop and launch innovative digital and data products ranging from mobile apps, internal digital products for marketing, sales, supply, RGM, finance, procurement, agriculture, etc., as well as B2B eCommerce platforms and B2C to data analytics solutions. Ensure the seamless integration of these products with existing processes, legacy systems, and the company's tech and digital platforms;
Data model development:
- Lead Development of data models by applying analytics, artificial intelligence, machine learning, gen AI, big data, IoT, and cloud technology to identify and execute efficiency improvement opportunities within KHC's different process operations (e.g. agriculture, industrial, commercial, supply chain, and support functions) in East and West Emerging Markets. Ensure data models translate data into profit, by generating meaningful insights, recommendations, scenario planning, anticipating future behavior, improve performance;
Technical solution:
- Defines and implement digital and data products architecture and technical solutions (e.g. microservices, APIs, monitoring, automated testing), aligns with IT teams present and approve in global board reviews, combining company’s current standards with new emerging analytics, AI, and technologies to guarantee high products and work standards and domains for specific disciplines;
Scalability of products:
- Drive implementation of digital product roadmap developing tech solutions that are scalable, and replicable across different BUs in West and East Emerging markets, and assuring solutions are connected to business strategy to solve most pressing business pain points, and generate business value;
Digital Transformation methodology and ways of working:
- Ensure digital and data products are built based on agile ways of working, a customer-centric approach, and best-in-class practices for product development, evolving initiatives as products, with test and learn cycles, incremental grains over time, and incorporating user feedback as ways to increase business impact;
Collaborate with external vendors:
- Develop and coordinate strategic partnerships with external technology providers to develop digital and data products, including state-of-the-art and experimental technologies, ensuring quality and results, and making the best use of the company’s resources and budget
Knowledge & Experience
- Higher degree in administration, engineering, IT, computer science, system analysis, development, data;
- Experience with digital products/technology;
- Good level of English.
