About the Job:
We are seeking a back-end Developer to join our growing team and contribute to a state-of-the-art decision making application. As a vital part of our development team, you will develop features that are scalable, secure, and high-quality. If you're a tenacious problem-solver interested in taking on stimulating projects and expanding your technical skills, then this could be your next step!
What You'll Do:
- Code the back-end of our application using Java and join in on Spring Framework action.
- Team up with other departments to brainstorm and build cool new features.
- Help set up and maintain the systems that automatically build, test, and deploy our code (think Docker and Kubernetes).
- Write tests to make sure your code does what it's supposed to do.
- Give and receive friendly feedback on code to help make it better.
- Play a role in keeping our app secure and protected.
- Have a hand in organizing where and how our data is stored, whether it's in SQL or NoSQL databases.
- Constantly learn, adapt, and fine-tune how we make software.
Who you are:
- Hands-on experience with Java.
- Familiarity with Spring Framework.
- Understanding of Docker and Kubernetes.
- Engage in conversations and code reviews with an open mind.
- Interest and ability to write clean code and perform tests on it.
- Knows the basics of keeping applications safe from security threats.
- Comfortable working with databases, whether it's SQL or NoSQL.
- A practical problem-solver who can find the right balance between perfect code and getting the job done.
- Can handle data in common formats like JSON and XML.
