About the opportunity:
We are looking for talent to join us in the position of assistant team lead of the fiscal team, who will be responsible for coordinating the routines and fiscal inbound for account payables and other routines inherent to the fiscal/ tax department in large companies.
Job Descriptions:-
- Daily guide, supervise and/or carry out the control of the company's team to interpret and apply the Brazilian tax legislation in the bookkeeping of product invoices, services and freight, with reference to the main taxes levied on the company's operations;
- Guiding, supervising and/or validate received electronic invoices, verifying their certification (xml validation);
- Responsible for overseeing receiving and verifying documents regarding fiscal and tax legislation and the company's internal procedures;
- Support in the launching of invoices and accounting, tax deed, tax withholding, account reconciliations, reviewing tax documents for the purchase of goods and contracted services, verifying the suitability of the document, identifying any taxes to be withheld;
- Bookkeeping Invoices for service in a specific system for the purpose of calculating the ISS;
- Supervise and support the work of analysts;
- Periodically preparing the financial closing of the period as well as preparing KPI's and various reports on the performance of the area, for control and decision making;
- Support the fiscal area or internal and external auditing, providing them with financial information for periodic closings, correcting entries, clarifying doubts, etc.;
- Respond to inquiries from employees and internal customers, urgent requests precisely and accurately;
- Supervise expenses classification entries, vendors reclassification, process reimbursement form, process vendor and employee advance, cash flow process ad clearing the accounting;
- Carry out the monthly closing process and analysis of balance sheets, through accounting conferences and Attend generation and analysis of Financial Statements, in compliance with accounting standards and internal controls.
- Elaborate report and monitoring of KPI's of the area;
- Lead continuous improvement processes, by evaluating legal requirements, internal controls and ERP system rules;
- Comply with the internal regulations the requirements of the quality management system and work safety standards inherent to the area, as well as the use of the (Personal Protection Equipment when it is necessary.
- Willing to travel for work purpose.
- Carry out other activities inherent to the position or at the discretion of their immediate superior, provided they are qualified and are in accordance with their knowledge and experience;
Requirements:-
- Degree in Accounting, Business Administration, Finance or in related area;
- Minimum 5 years of experience in Tax Department routines and team leadership. Previous experience in shared service companies or large industry will be a plus.
- Strong profile of management and team leadership. Have knowledge in fiscal/ tax processes;
- Good communication skill with stakeholders of all levels;
- Motivation, proactivity and strong analytical profile;
- Sound understanding of basic accounting payable, principles and bookkeeping;
- Advanced in Microsoft Office applications, mainly excel;
- Proficiency in SAP ERP system, GRC and Systax system. S/4 Hana knowledge will be a plus;
- Advanced English language skill;
- Must be willing to work onsite at Campinas.
