Job description
Kokku Games is seeking a proactive and motivated Junior DevOps Engineer to join our team. As a Junior DevOps Engineer, you will develop and maintain the infrastructure and automation processes. This role works closely with other programmers and the production team to create high-performance, robust, and sustainable systems in a game development environment.

As a Junior DevOps Engineer you will:
- Assist in designing, implementing, and maintaining a scalable CI/CD pipeline for game development projects.
- Support in automating build, test, and deployment processes to streamline development cycles.
- Collaborate on the implementation of crash reporting tools and integration of version control systems into the CI/CD pipeline.
- Aid in managing artifact repositories for storing and versioning build artifacts and dependencies.
- Assist in automating deployment processes for game development applications to various environments.
- Learn to implement blue-green deployments and canary releases to minimize downtime and risk.
- Participate in setting up instrumentation and monitoring tools to track the performance of the CI/CD pipeline.
- Support in continuously optimizing and improving the CI/CD workflow for speed, reliability, and efficiency.
- Provide assistance in developing interfaces to publisher or first-party systems.
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field
- You love solving challenging technical problems with the most effective solutions;
- You can prioritize, plan, and organize your work & time and work within deadlines;
- You have strong communication and interpersonal skills;
- You thrive on change and can adapt to changing needs and requirements;
Would be nice if you have
- Familiarity in languages like Python, C#, or C++
- Shell scripting skills in bash or PowerShell
- Familiarity with ‘NIX family of OS
- Familiarity with markup languages like YAML
- Familiarity with containerization technologies, especially Docker and Kubernetes.
