Job description
Head of Human Resources is a key member of the local and global HR Leadership team, responsible for leading and driving the human resources management strategies. The role will involve the whole life-cycle HR programs, including but not limited to recruitment, employee orientations, benefits administration, compensation, rewards, and conflict resolution, talent development, payroll, and business partnership. This is a great opportunity for developing and refining systems.
Candidate Profile:
- Previous experience working as an HR Director for 10 + years
- Proven experience in managing departments and teams with exceptional leading qualities
- Excellent knowledge of HR practices and local employment law and regulations
- Demonstrated ability to exercise sound judgment and maintain confidentiality when dealing with sensitive matters
- Ability to analyze and review HR data to identify trends and put action plans in place
- First-rate communication/presentation skills
- Fluent in English is essential; Portuguese a big plus
- Experience in promoting organization vision and culture
- Ability to mentor and coach from leaders to senior management
- Experience in implementing strategies for managing human resources using best practice policy/practices, including performance management, compensation, goal setting, diversity and inclusion, and employee relations, employee engagement in alignment with global practices
- Strong analytical and project management skills
