MAIN JOB PURPOSE
Lead for technical validation plan to support innovations of Fab Sensation, Home Hygiene and UPRO. Identify opportunities to deliver better production costs, product quality, capacity increase through process optimizations. This is a role that gives a unique opportunity to work across a broad range of different product categories and brands with singular strategies.
WHAT WILL YOUR MAIN RESPONSIBILITIES BE
Design process specifications (recipes, raw material interactions, interaction between product and equipment) – for new formulation considering the key process parameters to achieve finished product specification
To carry process evaluations and analysis for scaling up (lab/Pilot Plant/MPT), record results and conclude them (data analysis is key to understand interaction between product and equipment and to address technical issues). - Proof of principles for new technologies, design process from scratch with deep technical understanding.
Design of Experiment to define critical process parameters - Attend MPT, Pilot plant test is part of work - Strong partnership with internal interfaces (R&D/SC/Strategic&Inno Planning) and external (3PM & Suppliers)
To ensure locked formula design are implemented completely in the target sourcing unit with factory trials, risk assessments & first production monitored
Lead trouble shooting when required, set a plan with key interfaces, identify areas to be improved and propose solutions
Identify opportunities to improve production cost using process development as backbone - Identify cost savings (5S activities) through process optimizations
To ensure the compliance to the Unilever Code of Business Principles and all SHE and QA policies, including the support of product claims, risk management and environmental awareness & legislation.

Experiences & Qualifications
Bachelor (Engineering, Chemistry, Science or related areas)
Technical mindset applied to solutions, hands on mentality

Effective communication & presentation skills
Good communication in English and basic Spanish
