THE OPPORTUNITY


We are hiring a Staff Software Engineer for our GPS (Gympass Platform Services) Focus Area, Accounting, and invoicing team in Portugal! 

The Accounting and Invoicing team is responsible for the platform that processes all sales, subscription renewals, and revenue streams to create records of customers' receivables that will be collected later. The team also handles dunning processes whenever a debt remains unpaid after its due date. Services owned by this team handle global integrations with tax calculation engines which deal with each market's complexities, these integrations are used to both calculate the tax amount charged for each invoice created and also to file tax documents to local authorities. Around this entire process, the team is responsible for the services processing events from different sources, aggregating and transforming them into meaningful accounting entries filed to Gympass' ERP systems.
