Job description
A rapidly-growing company that is providing businesses with tailor-made tax preparation, consulting, and bookkeeping services is looking for a Salesforce Developer. The developer will be in charge of understanding goals and determining where automation might be used to speed up innovation while collaborating across organizational groups. The company is helping businesses with their research, special projects, and annual returns services that will help them to manage their finances more efficiently. This position requires some overlap with the U.S. time zone and will be a full-time role.
Job Responsibilities:
- Create automated solutions within the Salesforce platform by constructing custom work streams, processes, triggers, flows, integrations, and other necessary business operations
- Continually improve the features and functions offered by Salesforce and other cloud-based business tools through API integrations
- Analyze the effects of platform changes and their effects on applications, systems, and processes both upstream and downstream
- Manage development environments, including several sandboxes, as well as the migration of code and configuration to the Salesforce production environment
- Conduct routine internal system audits, health checks, and verifications that user access complies with SOC2 and IRS compliance requirements
- Support the organization's long-term vision while preserving simplicity in the coding environment
Job Requirements:
- Bachelor’s/Master’s degree in Engineering, Computer Science (or equivalent experience)
- At least 3+ years of relevant experience as a software engineer
- 2+ years of experience with Salesforce developer
- Demonstrable experience with Salesforce Lightning, Webhooks, Zapier, and Stripe
- Experience working with PriceBlocs (DevBloc), Box, Slack, and Gmail
- Nice to have some knowledge of Pardot, Airtable, Hubspot, and Podio
- Prior experience as a Certified Salesforce.com Admin or developer is nice to have
- Prolific experience with Pardot, Einstein Bots, Lightning Web Components, Rest, and Soap APIs
- Proficient experience in integrating exterior platforms using API tools
- Experience with current Salesforce certifications (e.g. App Builder, Platform Developer I, Platform Developer II a bonus)
- Experience with independently managing multiple, competing priorities
- Must possess an entrepreneurial mindset and outcome-focused personality preferred
- Ability to work in a fast-paced startup environment
- Ability to qualitatively and quantitatively validate product assumptions through rapid and iterative testing like A/B and multivariate testing
- Excellent English communication skills
