Job description
A fast-paced pharmaceutical company making healthcare more accessible to patients by transforming the healthcare sector is looking for a DevOps Engineer. The engineer will be in charge of recording procedures while concentrating on the ongoing development and keeping an eye on the performance indicators. The company is addressing issues like data analytics, commercial services, and patient and payor services as it introduces progressive solutions to address evolving healthcare needs.
Job Responsibilities:
- CI/CD pipelines should be developed and deployed in close coordination with application developers
- Maintaining and ensuring accessibility of all development and production environments
- Using the infrastructure as a code technique, develop and deploy cloud services
- When creating pipelines and deployments, be certain to follow best practices
- Look into and address the issues that have been raised during and after deployments
Job Requirements:
- Bachelor’s/Master’s degree in Engineering, Computer Science (or equivalent experience)
- At least 3+ years of relevant experience as a software engineer
- 3-4+ years of experience building and maintaining DevOps environments
- Prior experience maintaining deployments with Kubernetes, including cluster management and application deployment
- Understanding of strategies like blue-green, canary, and multi-service using K8s/AKS/EKS
- Experience working with YAML and other scripting languages like Bash, Perl, Ruby, Powershell, and Python
- Knowledge of documenting processes and monitoring performance metrics
- Familiarity with the cloud using Microsoft Azure and AWS/GCP
- Expertise in Terraform/Pulumi, Ansible, and other Infrastructure as Code (IaC) tools
- Deep understanding of security principles, norms, and applications (SSH, public key encryption, access credentials, certificates, TLS, and data encryption)
- Strong knowledge of any one of the CI/CD tools, such as Jenkins, GitHub Actions, Azure DevOps, ArgoCD, Atlantis, etc.
- Experience working with monitoring solutions like BigPanda, datadog, Nagios, Cloudwatch, etc., for a considerable amount of time
- Sufficient familiarity with and practical experience with Linux systems
- Experience in any one of the clouds (Azure, AWS, or GCP)
- Strong knowledge of telemetry systems like Prometheus, ELK, and Grafana
- Good understanding of log management tools like LogStash/Rsyslog
- Certified Kubernetes Administrator - CKA is preferred
- HashiCorp Certified: Terraform Associate certification is a plus
- Desirable to have a Microsoft Certified: DevOps Engineer or AWS Certified DevOps engineer
- Any cloud Architect certifications are desirable
- Proficiency in English
