Opportunity

Can you guide Fortune 500 retailers into the next generation of digital commerce, marketplace, and platform business strategy?   Can you map a transformation vision into a tangible roadmap with business and technology milestones and dependencies? Are you highly self-motivated and love working on complex strategy engagements across multiple industries? Can you collaborate with a global team of cross-disciplinary experts? We are seeking a highly skilled VTEX Architect to join our dynamic team.

As a VTEX Architect, you will play a pivotal role in designing, implementing, and optimizing scalable e-commerce solutions. Your expertise will contribute to the success of our projects by ensuring that our VTEX-based platforms meet the highest standards of performance, reliability, and functionality. 

Responsibilities

Top five responsibilities  

• Lead the design and architecture of VTEX-based e-commerce solutions, considering scalability, flexibility, and performance. 
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to define technical requirements and ensure alignment with business goals. 
• Hands-on implementation of VTEX-based solutions, ensuring best practices and optimal use of the platform's features. 
• Configure and customize VTEX modules and components to meet specific project requirements. 
• Design and implement integrations between VTEX and third-party systems, ensuring seamless data flow and functionality. 

Additional Responsibilities

• Manage API endpoints and authentication processes to optimize system interoperability. 
• Conduct performance assessments and implement optimizations to enhance the speed and efficiency of VTEX-based e-commerce platforms. 
• Identify and troubleshoot bottlenecks in the system to maintain optimal performance. 
• Collaborate with development teams, project managers, and stakeholders to ensure a unified approach to VTEX architecture. 
• Provide technical leadership and mentorship to junior developers, fostering a culture of continuous learning. 
• Implement and enforce security best practices to safeguard VTEX-based systems against potential threats. 
• Stay abreast of industry standards and compliance requirements, ensuring adherence in the architectural design. 

Qualifications

• Proven experience as a VTEX Architect or similar role, with a track record of successful project implementations. 
• In-depth knowledge of the VTEX platform, including its architecture, APIs, and customization capabilities. 
• Strong proficiency in web technologies, JavaScript, and related frameworks. 
• Experience with e-commerce systems, including payment gateways, order management, and inventory systems. 
• Familiarity with cloud platforms (e.g., AWS, Azure) and their services. 
• Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills, with a keen attention to detail. 
• Effective communication skills and the ability to collaborate with cross-functional teams. 
• Education and Certifications: 
• Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field. 
• Relevant certifications in VTEX or other related technologies are a plus. 
• Excellent English communication skills.
