A U.S.-based company that has been successful in developing a useful hybrid cloud model that has made that cloud a reality for business customers all around the world, is looking for a PowerBI SME Engineer. The selected candidate will be responsible for managing and guiding teams of junior developers on the industry’s best practices. The company is developing cloud data management technology and providing services for a worldwide file system, data consolidation, data security, and data intelligence. The company has managed to secure $165mn+ during their Series B round of funding. This position requires 6+ hours of overlap with the CT time zone.
Job Responsibilities:
- Create reports and aid in reorganizing the connections between various business systems
- Assemble information from multiple sources and create a report that would enable the organization's sales and leadership to examine their current transactions, and past deals, and anticipate future agreements based on the data in a number of databases
- Integrate innovative ways to automate and improve development and release processes
- Troubleshoot technical problems and develop software updates and fixes
Job Requirements:
- Bachelor’s/Master’s degree in Engineering, Computer Science (or equivalent experience)
- At least 3+ years of relevant experience as a software engineer
- Extensive experience working with PowerBI
- Prolific ETL experience
- Prior experience working with various cloud providers, like GCP and/or AWS
- Excellent conversational and written English communication skills
