Job description
The Accounting Analyst has the following responsibilities and key tasks related to BW Energy’s (BWE) operation in Brazil:
- Analysis and reconciliation of accounts
- Closing/Review of Trial Balance and Management Reports.
- Prepare SPED (ECD) income statement
- Control Asset (PPE) with Depreciation, Amortization e Depletion.
- Capitalization process
- Prepare Depreciation, Amortization e Depletion.
- Preparation of the analytical review file with the relevant accounting variations that occurred in the period.
- Prepare Annual Financial Statement (Balance sheet, Income Statement, DMPL, DFC and DVA and explanatory Note)
- Prepare year-end accounts and statutory accounts (JUCERJA)
- Prepare IBGE statement annually
- Handle external audits
- Prepare Central Bank report annually
- Monthly accounting reconciliation
- Support Cost controller in preparing budget forecasts
- Monthly Accruals
- Intercompany analyses
- Control Inventory
- Controlling production cost monthly
- Prepare adjust to consolidation figures
Requirements
Education
- Bachelor’s degree in accounting, with CRC (certified of public accountant)
Knowledge
- 3-5 years of relevant experience within accounting preferred Oil & Gas
- Experience in ERP system is an advantage
- Good knowledge in Brazil GAAP and IFRS
- Proficient in MS Excel
- Advanced English is mandatory
