About the job and it’s activities
The intern will be part of the Global Electronics department. This team is dedicated to assess the project activities related to quality to develop electronics and electrical system (EES) components with robustness of design and quality performance.Another important activity is the root cause investigation of the main issues happening on the EES components in our consumer homes and inside our factories to drive quality improvement projects within the EES team through a robust pipeline of project ideas. It is a global team dedicated to improvement of our customer´s experiences with our products. There is also a lot of interaction among several partner and client areas inside Whirlpool´s structure.You would be working at the Whirlpool factory in Joinville
Monday to Friday, - 8:00 am - 5:00 pm
Responsibilities
intern will be involved on:
- EES APQP related activities on New Product Introduction projects.
- Quality Database and component analysis in search of cause for quality regressions.
- Structure the process and generate projects pipeline for EES global existent product improvement.
- Network with, Product Engineering, Quality, Manufacturing and Supplier Quality teams.
- Fundamentals of Six Sigma
- Collect, treat and analyse global quality information system databases to help define prioritization.
- Execute and register structured and sequential steps for problem solving.
- Work either independently, or through multifunctional partnerships, to develop and improve EES designs on quality perspective.
- Follow-up and support with information ongoing quality projects
- Build communication material for internal stakeholders and quality forums
