We are creating a new organization with the aim to put a well-defined and standardized global Customs operating model in place across all relevant dimensions, from compliance, customer service, operational efficiency to leveraging free-trade agreements and customs costs.
We are now looking for a professional Customs Management Projects Specialist who will drive and implement import and export projects and best practices, plan and develop the project idea and be responsible for the execution of regional risk & regulatory developments. The responsibility in the position involves to identify local, regional, and global trends and opportunities that impact our organization. You will work directly with global and regional teams to gather requirements from businesses, build strong stakeholder management.
The location is Monte Mor, São Paulo and this is a permanent position, and we expect 10-15% travelling.

What you will do
As Customs Management Projects Specialist, you will:
- Drive project execution by monitoring project status, gathering customer responses and needs, monitoring project scope and watching for potential roadblocks.
- Resilience, ability to handle ambiguity & dynamic environments
- Plan, develop the Project Idea and Lead customs projects and manage procedures from its conceptualization to final deliverables.
- Ensure Stakeholder Engagement in accordance of businesses needs
- Execution of continuous improvement for all steps of each project
- Identify opportunities to improve the quality of customs operations processes in spirit of compliance and efficiency
- Support the implementation of the new organization – import and export
- Execution of regulatory developments and all risks for customs operations – import and export
- Work close under regular basis with Tetra Pak entities responsible for trade flows
- Early involvement in any project that could change flow of goods, trade flow etc. Any activity that could impact customs (opportunities, challenges, change in duty cost etc)
- Regular performance updates in regard to customs (clearance time, delays etc)
- Looking for opportunities and continuous improvement within customs organization
- Responsible for the execution of regional risk & regulatory developments
- Support the implementation of the new organization – import and export
We believe you have
- Bachelors degree in International Business, Business Administration or similar field
- Solid experience from working as Project Manager
- Experience from working in Power BI
- Experience from working in a Customs organization with import and export will be considered a plus
- An innovation mindset and a drive to find solutions and opportunities
- Excellent interpersonal and communication skills with the ability to identify and communicate key issues for resolution
- Strong collaboration and conflict management skills
- Fluent in English is required
- Fluent in Spanish will be considered a plus
