WHAT YOU'LL DO As a Team Manager (KE), you will deliver against the client and commercial priorities for multiple Sectors/Topics business. You will grow and deploy a team of Sector/Topic experts to support case work, content development, and business build initiatives. You will drive the IP/content agenda, with support from the team, and lead execution of Tier One and IP projects. You will be responsible for team’s performance across all KPIs (case billability, quality, content creation, etc.), lead recruiting and/or onboarding efforts for open roles, and act has coach / mentor by guiding team members to achieve their goals (career development, work priorities, skill enhancement). Additionally, as a Knowledge Expert, Team Manager, you will engage with case teams & clients based on your individual expertise and demonstrate differentiated impact and value-add to BCG clients and case teams. Previous expertise in Latin America's most relevant markets (eg. Brazil, Mexico, Chile, Argentina) is desirable, in addition to a deep understanding of macroeconomics, political landscape, and the business context for the main industries in the region. Background in Industrial Goods (eg. Mining, Steel, Automotive, Petrochemicals, Agribusiness) and/or Energy sectors is considered a differentiator. #LI-JE1 YOU'RE GOOD AT Leading problem solving and solutioning for clients and driving towards pragmatic solutions tailored to the business context - being responsible for topical expertise client staffing, business development efforts, and local content priority execution & ownership Leading development and commercialization of knowledge assets (e.g. tools, materials, etc) with focus on market and/or companies’ assessments, macroeconomics, and political scenario - previous experience in Industrial Goods and/or Energy is desirable, but not mandatory Engaging and communicating with senior stakeholders, demonstrating expert presence and credibility, while working in an ever changing and complex environment, and comfortable with ambiguity and navigating a fast-paced environment Leading projects in a highly effective manner, mobilizing team to deliver on business priorities and commercial impact Acting as a highly effective coach and mentor, guiding team members to achieve goals efficiently and effectively (career development, work priorities, skill enhancement) YOU BRING (EXPERIENCE & QUALIFICATIONS) +5 years consulting experience required; candidates with consulting experience preferred In lieu of consulting experience, +7 years minimum industry experience required; 10-12+ years of industry experience strongly preferred Bachelor's Degree required (advanced degree preferred) Managerial skills leading a multicultural / diverse team Fluency in English - Spanish is a differentiator Outstanding interpersonal and communication skills to interact with and manage internal and external stakeholder while working in a global collaborative team environment YOU'LL WORK WITH As a Knowledge Expert, Team Manager, you will collaborate with global topic leads and colleagues across BCG to bring expertise and capabilities to the service of our internal and external clients. ADDITIONAL INFORMATION The Knowledge Team (KT) is a group of functional and/or industry experts leveraging deep domain knowledge to enable insight for case teams and clients. KT members are affiliated to BCG Practice Areas, plugged into the strategic agenda and building and deploying leading edge IP data tools/assets to deliver insight. BCG's Knowledge Team members are staffed on cases and help co-create insights with case teams and clients through expert perspectives on industry trends, delivery of proprietary data or tools in a particular function and complex research and analysis of market information.
