Amazon Brazil is looking for a Vendor Manager to play an important role within the Retail team by owning a category and adding selection, analyzing business data, driving vendor performance, negotiating terms and handling promotions. As a Vendor Manager, you will be responsible for strategic relationships with several of our key vendors and partners. You will work with Brazilian and global vendors to drive all aspects of terms improvements, which includes analysis and projections, as well as direct negotiations with senior decision makers in local vendors. Additionally, you will increase product category sales, by driving store marketing promotions, negotiating partners to improve selection, and reacting to industry-related economic trends. You will have excellent verbal and written communication, the ability to analyze and communicate complex terms and margin structure and work well across other teams including Finance and Inventory Management. Candidates who are organized, flexible, creative, analytical, and able to drive negotiations through completion will be appreciated. Key job responsibilities
-Expand International selection for Brazilian customers
-Create business plans for new opportunities and develop and execute project plans for the launch of new features, incorporating merchandising, stock management and pricing strategies
-Have a thorough understanding of retail and importation channels, seasonality and global trends/events, and continually monitor costumer needs
-Influence cross-functional teams, and communicate with internal and external partners, while meeting tight deadlines
-Manage supplier/partner contracts with international vendors, manage day-to-day relationships, negotiate and secure marketing funds
-Conduct financial analysis of business opportunities to meet and exceed revenue and profitability targets for a product category
-Maximize Amazon’s long-term business growth while improving program profitability
